The jig itself and the bending forms are made with 18 mm plywood. The base of the jig has 4 points for clamping on the workbench.
"The arm" is made with extruded aluminum 40 x 40 mm which is securely fixed on the jig base with 8 mm bolts. The press is made using a 12 mm ACME lead screw.
The side bending machine features a self-contouring waist clamp which will work with any guitar shape. There is no need for a different bending inserts, one clamp does all!
This side bender is a very efficient tool and you will be able to bend sides within minutes.

Assembly

The jig will be sent as a flat pack and the jig base and the bending forms will have to be assembled before the first use. The arm press will be assembled and it will have to be attached to the base.
The assembly is straight-forward and mainly consists of inserting barrel nuts into pre-machined slots and tightening the bolts with allen wrench. All fixings are provided and sent in the labelled bags with instructions.
If purchased without bending forms, it will arrive like the photo number 2.
If purchased with one set of bending forms, it will arrive like the photo number 6.
