All tonewood sent, will be of good quality and defect free. We would never send something that we wouldn't use on our guitars. If you are not happy with the tonewood received, we will replace it for free!
Soundboard grading - B grade sounboards will likely have a noticeable discolouration (which will not affect the sound quality), darker grain, more grain run-out.
A grade might have some discolouration, but will have a straight grain. These are the best price/quality ratio.
And above grades will have a uniform appearance with no discolouration or knot marks, with tight grain and less run-out. Higher the grade, the grain will be more perfect and uniform.
Approximate lead time for one of these kits is about 7-10 days, depending on the level of finishing and how busy we are.
